About Me
After stepping out of the classroom six years ago, I have missed my role as an educator. Helping children learn in an accepting and encouraging environment and watching them reach their full potential is my favorite part of teaching. I look forward to working with your child to help them boost self-esteem, gain confidence, and succeed academically and personally.

My experience includes 16 years of classroom teaching, 13 of which were at Carrollwood Day School in Tampa. I have taught all ages from preschool to middle school, working with and adapting to varying learning abilities.
I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology. I hold a Florida State Professional Educator Certificate and I am credentialed by The International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. My work history includes working as a lead preschool teacher, substitute teacher, full-time elementary teacher, and an academic coach for children with ADHD/ODD and other learning differences. In recent years, I have worked as a Child Therapist, counseling children with ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I am also a mother of two boys, one of whom has ADHD, so I have first-hand understanding of the academic and personal challenges presented with a neurodivergent child.
