• Students are respected, listened to, and encouraged to express themselves openly and respectfully. 
• ​Every student thinks differently and deserves learning activities tailored to their learning needs, personalities, and style. ​​
• I encourage “out of the box” thinking, suggestions, and new ideas that can benefit each student. 
• ​​​Movement is an acceptable, and sometimes necessary, way to learn. 
• ​Empathy, kindness, acceptance, tolerance, and respect are taught, modeled and encouraged. 
• Students are welcome to sit where they are comfortable and open to learning. 
• Laughter, smiles, giggles and fun are great things to do while learning.
• Students know themselves and can express their learning needs. 
• I welcome parents input in their student’s learning journey!
